The challenge

Basecamp had 140 members across hot-desk, dedicated-desk, and private-office tiers. Room bookings were managed over Slack and a shared Google Calendar. Monthly invoices were raised manually in Xero and chased by email. The community manager was spending 15 hours a week on admin that had nothing to do with the community.
